Karen Gray-Plaisted the principal owner of Design Solutions employs her expertise of understanding what a buyer desires when merchandising a home. Her discerning sense of style comes from over a decade of profitable buying experience for major retailers. Her strong knowledge of current trends in decorating and the housing market have contributed to profitable sales for clients.
She is a member of ASHSR and RESA. In 2013 she became a Finalist of the Rising Star category recognized in all of North America by RESA. In 2012 the homes that Design Solutions staged sold on the average in 52 days. Karen holds a BA from Pace University, Merchandising and Buying degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology and was trained by HSR as a Certified Professional Home Stager and Re-designer. Karen’s ability to educate and empower clients using simple solutions allows homeowners to transform their spaces with desirable affordable decadence.
